Who we are
Civil Injury Lawyers (“we,” “us”) is a Texas law practice. This policy explains what information we collect through cilgtx.com and our main telephone line, and how we use it.
Information we collect
- Consultation requests. When you use our contact form we collect your name, email address, phone number (optional), the type of case, and the description you choose to write.
- Telephone calls. When you call our main line, an automated assistant may answer, ask for your name, a callback number and a brief reason for your call, and pass that information to our staff so we can return your call.
- Technical information. Like most websites, our server records your IP address and basic request details. We use these for security and to prevent abuse. This website does not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics.
How we use it
We use the information to respond to your request, to decide whether we can help you (which includes checking for conflicts of interest), to keep our systems secure, and to meet our legal and professional obligations.
Please do not send confidential information through this website
Submitting a form or leaving a message does not create an attorney-client relationship. Until one exists, do not include privileged or confidential details. Share those only after we have agreed to represent you.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the website, send email and provide telephone service, and only as needed to provide those services, or where the law requires.
Text messages (SMS)
We do not use text messaging for marketing or to solicit business. Automated text messages sent from our systems are internal notifications to our own staff.
Your mobile information will not be sold or shared with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes. All of the categories above exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
We will not share your opt-in to an SMS campaign with any third party for purposes unrelated to providing you with the services of that campaign. We may share your personal data, including your SMS opt-in or consent status, with third parties that help us provide our messaging services, including platform providers, phone companies and other vendors who assist us in the delivery of text messages.
Security and retention
We use reasonable safeguards to protect the information we hold. We keep consultation requests for as long as needed to respond and to meet our professional obligations, and then delete them when no longer required.
Your choices
You may ask us to correct or delete information you sent through this website by contacting us at contact@cilgtx.com or (469) 972-6064, subject to any legal or professional duty to keep it.
Children
This website is intended for adults and is not directed to children.
